The Custer County Medical Center provides a wide variety of patient services, five days per week, with extended after-school hours on Tuesdays and early hours both Tuesdays and Thursdays for office visits, diagnosis and treatment. We welcome walk-ins for acute conditions, including life-threatening illnesses, injuries and wound care.
Our on-site digital x-ray system transmits images to radiologists, and our laboratory performs many tests in-house for quick answers, daily sending samples for outside tests we can’t perform in Westcliffe. We now offer affordable direct-access (no order) lab services through Heart of the Rockies Medical Center. With our prescription vending machine, which directly bills your insurance provider, you can receive common drugs prescribed by our providers. We now can save travel for many patients by providing intravenous therapies, such as infusions of antibiotics or immunotherapy. And our physical therapy team can help you recover from injuries, chronic conditions or surgery.
In addition, we work with all in our community to promote health and prevent disease.
